It's Hallo-scream!

Time to hang around with ghoul friends on fang-tastic night in spooky Halloween town. I did cut loose Halloween participation for 2 years now and this year I am going on 'Trick or Treat. Be so sweet. Give me something good to eat'. Oh Yaah!!! Its time to park all brooms at the door and take a fright turn into the fright zone. In the dark nights of muffled man, I am standing with jeans on... Freeze your brain there! Its from the mind not from the present. My brain is nagged concluding on the spooky fit I could be wrapped in to erode the crowd. Mmmm.... Seemingly not an attire which could not fit me... Should I be anxious to fact-read that the spooky suits normalizes on me or smack my ideas to find a creepy suit for my 'He-Spookist' to parallel me? A night before the spine-chilling event I slouch on the couch to heat up my system, just to look much better. I look though the skylight to see mere colors falling off the trees, in the gap I do see 'Hugs & Kisses 5 cents, Bugs & Hisses 10 cents'! Okie.... How about buy one and get one free deal? Scary at its own. Time to move out and hit the stores where I see Orange and black everywhere, did I see a pumpkin in a cap? Oh no... Its a costume at the wit's end and says 'Spooky Stew Sale! All natural living ingredients. We deliver after midnight!' Worse than me... I whacked and backed with a better deal to look at myself in the mirror.
Take a break folks! Will chill the spine with more tummy ticklers on the Halloween updates very soon...

Have a spooktakular good time!

Everything happens for a reason! Answering Who, Where, What & Why?

Hi, Hello, Namaste, Vanakkam, Bonjour, Konnichiwa to everyone who are hitting the fun and frolic world of words in "Ma(k)ker"... Calling my full name needs an additional second hence acquaintances started calling me 'Maks'. Life's accidents and incidents made me to make counter events out of the iterative living time hence self-made name "Maker". In my own grammatic version 'Ma(k)ker [Mah-kk-er].

How it all started? Interestingly, One day I was chatting with my friend ‘Rekha’ about her motherhood and images of the same in her well-made blog. At the time to bid bye, she insisted me in starting my own blog to share my interest and also lend help in the Wide Wobbling World (may call www) of hunger by sharing my colorful cooking tips. Mmmm… Thought not a bad idea and here I am attacking the computers with mere words.

When life was taking its own twists and turns ending up in a dead end, I broke the cut-and-dried ends to a fresh start venturing my already earned Masters in Physics into engineering perspective. This maneuver ended me up in a 'Ghost town' in the USA although in a very good rated University. Demanded by folks and footings, I sewed up in an another good University in 'Indian town',USA. When my focus was lighted on academics, I came to the limelight of love with a man who was 'just rightly' sized, fashioned & designed for me. The story from here takes smooth turn in the dream land casting 'Arun' beloved Lover, Fiancée and a perfect husband, as quoted in William Shakespeare's 'Comedy of Errors' "thou art my man, thou art thyself', he is made just right for me (not too much or not too less) by God himself. Not to forget, the Ever-ready batteries of this over powered engine, my Parents, as proud as they are as I call them 'Amma' and 'Appa'. As composed by Papanasam Sivan in a tamil classical song 'Enna Thavam Seithanai', God has composed a beautiful family for me even before I tied my knots. Affectionate and amiable 'In-Laws', supportive and sheltering 'Sister-in-law' and 'Brother-in-law', adorable and admirable nieces. The day, I don’t hear them call me "MahaAkka", I feel incomplete, they are an epitome of love and kindness.
Every Love fairy tale ends with a sparkling celebration, so did mine, we all flew to India for the marriage. Bombastic marriage celebration, bombarding talks on the perfect match made in the heaven and what not, the scene had every element described in a perfect wedding. With fun and frolic, I finally departed my mom and dad back in the mother country and landed at ‘my’ home holding composite relationship of my life’s existence, Confused??? Prick your brain when I say composite, its Arun. From day one to till date, he has been my mom in care, dad in advices, friend in companionship and every other relationship I could search to express an emotion. Do I miss anything at all? Yes, being awake at 2.am watching ‘Choti Bahu’ with my SIL, talking about career and science with my BIL, watching ‘Barbie as Princess’ with my adorable niece and finally encountering someone ‘too small to find’ around me voicing ‘BahBah’, right there in guess, it is my kutti niece. Can it get any better? Yes, I graduated with a lot of success and at the same time doing the duties as a wife.
I should say timely achievements, best companion for life, beautiful house, next stage in cooking; more love from everyone, new friends and the list is ongoing.

Oh my Gawd… How can I forget? She could eat my brain without her presence! Funny as it sounds, it is none other than my alter ego, Pavithra. She came in my life like an angel when my life was typhoon-ing. We have walked in dry roads, rainy clutters, on the highway and in the woods accompanied by our ever going never ceasing laughter. I should say it is the craziest and most loud age of my life. In our kingdom, we were the queens and all the others were either clowns or puppets. Stop there! You have misconceived us; we were good to everyone, just a little bit of fun with all the characters we met. Together we had weariless time, difficult days were like walking in heavy snowfall and came aback merry and merit of our Masters together. Currently, we are miles away in the same country along the time of 2 years; our friendship still obeys 'Universal Law of Gravitation', Curse me not for being a physicist here.

Life is happening at every end until we stop pulling the ends together!   Take the life the way you go…
